HATCHETT DESIGN REMODEL Hiring for Carpenter Job at Remote Full Time

Hatchett is looking for a talented home remodeling carpenter to work as part of a team and with our clients on their home remodeling projects. The right candidate will be able to build rapport with team members and clients to efficiently remodel homes based on design specifications, budgets, and schedules established by the Project Manager.

The Role

• Work with clients, remodeling consultants, trade partners, designers and other HDR employees using the design build process to plan and execute projects

• Build and maintain relationships via effective communication with all clients, HDR employees, trade partners and suppliers

• Manage the construction tasks given in a timely and efficient manner

The Perfect Candidate

• Is a self-starter who thrives in a team environment

• Enjoys working with people, has a passion for home remodeling, is well organized and detail oriented
• Experience in the home remodeling industry is a plus, but not necessary.

• Appreciates an environment that believes that work should be fun and issues are challenges to be resolved.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Conduct repair work or new installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
