Shipping & Receiving maintains delivery and distribution of delivered products. Maintains good communication and relationships with external delivery personnel and internal employees to facilitate a clear understanding of delivery and storage methods, while maintaining an orderly warehouse and facility.

Essential Functions
- Complete knowledge of warehouse and inventory, control policies, processes, and procedures. Ensures accuracy of purchase orders and other relevant documentation.
- Communicates clearly and effectively to others the steps in a process and the importance of following that process. Clearly understands the rationale for why process must follow certain steps.
- Receives and unloads trucks, checking in materials, matching purchase orders to ensure quantity and quality of orders are correct.
- Schedules drivers to pick up and deliver parts and equipment
- Delivers a variety of items to job sites for the purpose of distributing items from internal or external sources over scheduled and/ or unscheduled routes to assigned locations and/or individuals.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as the order the job material/equipment will be delivered.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area for future delivery
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Delivers material/Equipment to Job site as necessary as backup to the driver.
- Ensure warehouse is always accessible and safe Clean and orderly.
- Operates equipment in accordance with OSHA and company rules. Adheres to all local, state and federal laws.
- Drives vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of receiving stock and/ or filling orders for transport.
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspection of delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, tires, and lights for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicles.
- Oversees disposal of surplus material or scrap products.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
- Keeps facility maintained and clean (yard, security lighting, signs, paint, etc.)
- Performs all functions within the scope of the warehouse.
- Facility maintenance duties as needed.
Job Requirements
For consideration, candidates must have a valid drivers license and valid CDL Medical Certificate.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver`s Class A
- CDL Medical Certificate
- Evidence of insurability
- Related experience.
- Forklift certificate.
- Ability to drive within local areas
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to move, lift, load and reach inventory weighing up to 50 pounds.
