Due to a promotion of the current HR Manager to another subsidiary, NTA is searching for an HR Leader to join our team.
The majority owner of NTA Precision Axle is NTN, which is one of the world’s premier bearing manufacturers serving the automotive and industrial markets for the over 100 years.
NTA Precision Axle is located in Carol Stream, IL.
This position is responsible for continuous improvement of the human resources function within the organization. This includes partnering with management to improve employee engagement and productivity through proper staffing, training and positive employee relations in a union-free manufacturing environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Reporting to the Controller, this key role manages a staff of 2 and interfaces with senior leaders and other operational managers; on site EHS staff has a dotted line to this role
· This position has a dotted line reporting relationship to the VP & CHRO for the NTN Americas Region, located in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Other interface is with our Elgin, Illinois plant.
· Provide guidance to management and employees regarding human resources issues
· Develop training and engagement programs to improve productivity and positive employee relations
· Perform advanced employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of termination requests; conduct exit interviews
· Conduct complex/sensitive employee related investigations
· Conduct employee and supervisor training including safety, benefits, and other workplace policies
· Management and execution of salary, wage and bonus plans, and performance/merit processes
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Management, advanced degree such as an MBA a plus
· SPHR or PHR Certification a plus
· Seven to ten years of Human Resources generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. At least three years in a supervisory level position
· Previous experience working in a non-union or union manufacturing or distribution facility
· Extensive experience in staffing of exempt and non-exempt positions
· Previous experience in creating and delivering training programs
· Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations issues and developing operations staff and human resources team

Pay: $105,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
