Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with the agency leave policy.
Reviews Waiver Survey and Certification packets for the Quality Assurance Unit.
Evaluates program, procedures, and processes for effectiveness and creates senior-level reports with recommendations for improvement.
Interprets policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and standards to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Coordinates with management to identify training needs and assists in developing and implementing training to survey staff.
Acts as a resource for survey staff, Program Managers, Assistant Director and Director.
Participates in statewide HCS and TxHmL surveys as needed.
Performs related and additional work as assigned.

Knowledge of federal and state program policies and laws.
Skill in written and oral communication.
Skill in interviewing people and analyzing evidence.
Skill in compiling, processing, analyzing and presenting?
Skill in the use of the computer and applicable software.

Ability to work on a self-initiated basis to ensure work objectives are effectively addressed for all aspects of responsibilities as a Compliance Reviewer.

Initial Selection Criteria:
Experience in working with IDD population
Experience with HCS or TxHmL or similar program.
Additional Information:
This position may require 45% travel.
Must not have been convicted of a job related misdemeanor or felony offense as listed under Health and Safety Code 250.006.
Must pass fingerprinting criminal background check.
Must disclose any conflict of interest.
Must disclose if you are, or have been a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator.
