Position Summary:
The Recruiting Associate is responsible for successfully recruiting agents to sell insurance. The Recruiting Associate works as part of our sales team. The ideal candidate for the position has a background in Health insurance and should be comfortable placing outbound recruiting calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Call prospective agents in designated market areas using a prepared sales script to qualify leads and explain type of services or products offered.
• Recruit and assist external brokers in completing their initial on-boarding and contracting forms.
• Respond to questions that may arise during recruiting calls.
• Obtain customer/lead information when necessary.
• Enter and maintain customer or potential customer data into a database.
• Maintain records of telephonic interactions, orders, and accounts.
• Oversees the contracting status for each external agent to be sure there are no issues. If so, follows up and assists the General Agency Manager to resolve them.
• Works with staff to effectively influence external agents to acquire profitable business that meets or exceeds targets.
• Develops and maintains relationships with external agents.
• Creates and implements strategies of the General Agency Department that will aid the flow of the Marketing, Enrollment and Sales Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attends marketing events to engage with our external agents and vendor District Managers.
• Maintains awareness of company, compliance, and market share changes to delegate to our external agents.
• Creates and updates materials that will aide external agents with contracting/on-boarding.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Relationship building skills.
• Time management skills.
• Reliable and target driven.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a must

Physical and Environmental Demands:

• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stand, sit for long periods of time, and reach with hand and arms.
• Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer-based work, participating in filing activity, lifting, and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds.
• Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
