Health Link Home Health Agency , a SF-based agency, has an exciting, new opportunity, and is hiring IMMEDIATELY. This is a Full-Time office position in Walnut Creek, CA. We are seeking a dynamic, high energy, team player to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible in helping create and complete accurate billing and collections of all claims submitted for payments to Medicare and commercial insurance health care programs.

What You’ll Do:

• Audit charts for preparation for billing in accordance with requirements
• Processing, monitoring, and collecting of Medicare and other commercial insurance claims in accordance with payer requirements
• Verifying accuracy of billing data and revising any errors
• Importing/posting payments from all payer types
• Creating and distributing various financial reports as needed
• Timely resolution of all claims including appeals
• Following up on accounts for billing and on overdue accounts for collections via phone calls, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors
• Working with personal information and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform all other duties assigned

Must be available to train in San Francisco office!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
