SUMMARY:
As an HR Generalist with HealthComp, you will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. Your primary focus will be to support the Human Resources function to ensure it meets both the business’s and employee’s needs. The HR Generalist will support; employee relations, HR Specific training, HR compliance, instituting policies and procedures, employee engagement, driving HR initiatives and managing HR Data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure all company HR related policies are applied consistently
· Objectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues
· Guide leadership on appropriate disciplinary action
· Assist with onsite investigations
· Maintain and coordinate employee engagement initiatives
· Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws
· Regularly run/review HR activity reports
· Support the internal employee communication and engagement survey responses, identify solutions based on interpretation of feedback and overall employee response
· Provide onsite visibility and HR presence to support employee population
· Conduct HR related training, provide assistance and implement HR initiatives
· Review requests for employment status changes related to; pay, FMLA, LOA, PTO, Benefits, Performance, etc…
· Prepare, coordinate and preset HR related topics to team including leadership
· Participates in HR annual processes related to; merit increase, bonuses, performance appraisal and benefits enrollment

QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3-5 years proven work experience as an HR Generalist preferably in a corporate setting
· Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
· Familiarity with HR Databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Management Systems
· Strong decision-making skills
· Sufficient depth of knowledge in employment law
· Excellent people skills and ability to build rapport with business partners, leadership, vendors and employees
· Proven ability to influence across a matrix of business constituents
· High degree of computer literacy with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
· 3-5 years of professional Human Resources experience preferred
