The Talent Partner III develops and leads the specialized recruiting strategy to support the assigned business functions. This role will strategically partner with business leaders, People BPs and Talent Partner Leadership to understand the talent needs of the organization and works collaboratively with them to provide solutions to meet talent needs. Partners internally with Finance, Business Partners, and Total Rewards to ensure alignment in our compensation philosophy and budgetary requirements. Approaches work with a focus beyond the transactional needs of completing a placement; but rather, is more consultative in their approach with leadership to ensure the talent added supports the business priorities, enhances our culture and work environment, and helps us remain competitive as a company.
What you’ll be doing
The Talent Partner III takes on roles that may be more challenging to fill and require more creative methods to find candidates. This role also takes on a higher level in volume of requestions.
Plays a key part of the hiring decision process and provides recommendations for future team members to join the organization. This role has excellent knowledge of the company practices so they can work independently with leaders and recommending appropriate hiring decisions.
Lead the offer and offer approval process based on market data received from the Compensation Team. Has the autonomy to have offer discussions with hiring leaders and recommend Salary, Bonus and Equity (when applicable).
Serve as a trusted thought partner alongside hiring managers to understand and develop talent goals, calibrate strategies, and drive creative processes for recruiting top talent
Build deep, sustainable networks, communities of diverse talent across industries and geographies
Partner with Talent Operations (Branding) to create robust marketing plans to build talent attraction strategies, targeting critical functions and regions
Improving assessment, selection, the hiring process, and candidate experience and working with the leaders across the business to train hiring managers and interviewing teams
Actively seek out and connect with active and passive candidates for current and future opportunities, building robust pipelines for niche and ‘evergreen’ roles
Is a culture ambassador to help drive HealthEquity’s culture, mission and vision for both internal team members and potential
Responsible for being gatekeepers of HealthEquity’s ‘Purple Culture’ and that all new team members add to our first-class culture.
The Talent Partner III serves as a resource for other Talent Partners sharing best practices and may work on special projects.
In-depth review of metrics to make applicable suggestions for improved efforts
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field strongly preferred
3-6 years of dedicated HR and recruiting experience
Experience creating and implementing a creative, data-driven, consultative recruiting strategy for a rapid-growth organization
In-depth knowledge of business acumen and strategy of the assigned business function(s)
Networking ability to manage successful talent pipelines
Strong communication skills to successfully build relationships with candidates and internal hiring leaders
Proficiency in Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques preferred
Ability to ‘perceive beyond the obvious’ to bring innovative solutions to the role
