Overview:
The Medical Records Administrative Assistant is responsible for reviewing, pulling and submitting records to various departments and tracking records. Must have experience with Medical Records, MS office suite/excel. Must work from the Greenville SC office.
The Medical Records Administrative Assistant is responsible for reviewing, pulling and submitting records to various departments and tracking records. Must have experience with Medical Records, MS office suite/excel. Must work from the Greenville SC office.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain medical records as directed
2. Fax documentation to physicians for signature
3. Scanning/uploading signed documentation into EMR
4. Completing technical chart audits to insure all signed documentation is present and uploaded
5. Support the Company’s commitment to Compassionate Care; project a professional image to foster confidence in the Rehab Program
6. Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
2. Experience using various software systems, fax machines, and Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and organize time and tasks for maximum efficiency.
5. Ability to understand and follow the directions of licensed professionals.
