SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Compensation: $45,900 to $64,300 per year (based upon experience)
Work Schedule: 40-hour week, Monday through Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from engaging and attracting candidates to managing the offer process.
- Partner with hiring teams to assess recruiting and talent needs, understand job requirements, develop job descriptions, and refine the recruitment process as needed.
- Attends and participates in career fair and outreach events
- Providing career guidance to internal candidates.
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Grow and foster high-touch relationships with qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage new employees through the introductory period with the purpose of retention.
- Coordinate with Chief Culture Officer to ensure diverse applicant pools for all positions.
Sourcing
- Source active and passive candidates through job boards, web mining, print ads, campus recruiting, job fairs, soliciting referrals, social networking, reference contacts to build a database of candidates.
- Manage job board content, creating, posting, editing, and refreshing job postings on an as-needed basis.
- Partner with our Marketing team and create recruitment brand recognition.
- Screens applicants, develop interview questions and coordinate interview process with hiring managers.
- Collaborating with management to identify future staffing needs.
- Engaging past employees as alumni network to diversify recruiting efforts.
- Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- If possible, contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
- Performs other program related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Three years of recruiting experience
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with job boards, HR software, databases, and management systems
