Air Cost Control (“A2C”), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, is seeking a HR Generalist that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Performs all Human Resources generalist functions including but not exclusive to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation program development and planning, training and development, succession planning, and legal and regulatory issues.
Provides consultative coaching and advice to senior management and management on team member and related issues; participates in handling departmental and staff related issues.
Addresses and investigates grievances including serious misconduct, harassment and discrimination. Provides guidance on results of investigation and recommended company response.
Develops Human Resources policies and procedures in conjunction with Senior Management.
Enforces consistent practice of policies and procedures. Communicates policies and other company announcements to staff.
Implements and manages the performance management process.
Partners with employees at all levels to better understand and incorporate their needs into Company programs, training & development/succession planning.
Handles employee on-boarding and the processing of the new-hire paperwork.
Handles FMLA, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and other types of leaves.
Provides management training on ADP.
Manages the termination process including exit interviews.
Works as the Human Resources Liaison between HEICO Human Resources and Air Cost Control.
Maintains employee handbook.
Develops and maintains EEO-1, Vets 100, and AAP records for HEICO HR team.
Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
Plans Company events.
Handles Worker’s Compensation and OSHA reporting responsibilities.
Provides regulatory training – Affirmative Action, EEO, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination.
Oversees new-hire process including I-9 E-Verify usage. Orders background checks as needed.
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and reordering supplies, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.

Education/Experience:
Two years minimum experience of progressive responsibility in a Human Resources generalist capacity.
Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of Human Resources functions and protocols including risk management and legal and regulatory issues
Excellent supervisory and management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to liaise effectively with all internal and external customers.
Excellent computer skills including HRIS
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
