Job Description We are seeking a Medical Front Office Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- May collect Copays, close the Cash Drawer, and prepare Month End deposits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) years’ medical front office or equivalent administrative experience required.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy required.
- Understanding of insurance procedures preferred.
Preferred – experience in radiology front office and any experience in research a plus.
