Overview:
The Fleet Business Analyst is responsible for providing reports and metrics for management in Shared Services and the business units. This role is also responsible for maintaining our driver and fuel management programs. The Fleet Business Analyst ensures compliance with policies, keeps business units informed of notices and changes, and provides help in matters of urgency, i.e., setting up storm profiles for fuel use during disaster responses. Other duties include coordinating fleet events, receiving visitor, vendors, and customers.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY OUTCOMES/Major job elements:
- Equipment Reports accurately delivered on time to meet customers’ need
- Fleet fuel cards ordered, and driver pin set up in a timely manner. Successfully monitored and managed to maintain good records.
- Accurate POV and driver assignment record set up in the system and data entered on time
- Lease and Loan information accurately recorded in CORE system
- Fleet invoices accurately entered for payment and capital repairs accurately recorded in CORE system
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and distribute database queries and reports related to – but not limited to- fleet. Troubleshoots data integrity issues and analyzes data to support all activities in Fleet 20%
- Manage over 4,000 fuel cards and driver pin numbers in fuel management system and update CORE accordingly. 30%
- Set up POV allowances, Type 1&2 driver assignments, and Type 2 quarterly mileage reports 20%
- Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices 30%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science, Business or Accounting
- Good interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Business writing skills
- 5 + years database programing
- 5 + years of experience in accounting and data analysis
Proficiency in the following applications and systems: MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Project; Business Systems and Databases – experience in JD Edwards ERP business application is a plus
