About The Role
The Supply Chain Specialist will support Heyday’s inventory management, overall 3PL relationship, and supply chain logistics. They will work cross-functionally with different Heyday teams and manage external vendor relationships to deliver a great experience to our clients, and to do this with a ruthless focus on cost management. This is a remote, contract role. The hourly rate will be $50.00 – $75.00 based on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Inventory Management – Report on inventory levels in transit, in warehouse, and at shop locations in order to ensure there is adequate inventory on hand.
- Purchase Order Approval- Prepare purchase orders for review and approval by franchise customers, making strategic recommendations that balance available inventory on hand and the needs of the shop.
- Order Fulfillment – Process orders for delivery to shop locations, holding our 3PL accountable for turnaround times and order completeness. Communicating to franchisees and shop teams status of orders, and proactively mitigating delays and backorders.
- Stakeholder Communication – Monitor the operations inbox for questions and concerns from vendors, franchises, and shop teams.
The Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years in a supply chain, fulfillment, and/or an inventory management role, preferably with multi-location or multi-customer experience.
- 3+ years working in ERP-enabled workflows (Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
- Uses Excel effectively to consolidate and analyze information.
- Operationally minded with a keen ability to manage many moving pieces
- Experience working cross functionally within an organization
- Able to multitask while prioritizing tight deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
