The primary responsibility of this position is to efficiently schedule our staffing and fleet resources to meet the demands and needs of our customers. Additionally, this position supports the needs of our employees and ensures all work and services provided are done so in a safe and appropriate manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily routing management and scheduling of service and delivery drivers within multiple locations of a given market.
Maintain communication with customer service staff regarding customer service and delivery needs within the assigned market.
Dispatch drivers within market, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor driver and service tech schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs and accurate customer invoicing.
Monitor and track fleet location and availability.
Ensure maintenance schedules are followed for fleet vehicles.
Track and improve operational and performance metrics including, but not limited to driver performance, equipment utilization and routing efficiencies.
Provide information and coordination of route information for propane delivery and customer services.
Provide reporting and results on organizational metrics.
Crosstrain in the service and delivery area as needed to ensure timely response to general customer needs in propane and/or water where offered.
Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurately submitted in a timely manner.
Maintain professionalism, integrity, security, image and confidentiality of information and records as required by the position.
Understand all DOT regulations to ensure we schedule loads that comply with DOT service requirements.
Support District Manager with conducting safety meetings, training and/or in-services as needed.

Must be committed to working safely at all times.
Propane, Gas or Service (such as HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical) industry experience a plus.
Experience/Education:
High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and service industry is preferred.
Travel:
Must be able to travel within assigned Market on an as needed basis.

Communicate with and exchange information verbally and in writing.
Operate a motorized vehicle during the work shift.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position is required to be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours. Physical presence at the work site is required.
