Customer Service is the central point of contact for external customers in an assigned geographical area and is responsible for managing day-to-day activities and communications with external customers. Responsible for booking loads and insuring customer requirements for the loads are communicated to appropriate operations personnel. Maintains timely communications with customers on status of loads on an as needed basis. May be required to solicit loads from customers. Works closely with line haul, drivers, terminal management and personnel, directors of national accounts and cleaning rack vendors.
