Hiram College invites applications for the position of Director of Campus Involvement and Diversity Programming. Hiram College is a private liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio. The Director of Campus Involvement and Diversity Programming position is a full-time, exempt, 12-month professional staff position that reports to the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Diversity and Inclusion in the Division of Student Affairs. The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following*:
* Supervise the Terrier Activities Board (TAB). TAB is the student activities programming team that plans student events including some late-night events.
* Oversee administrative and budget detail for the Office of Campus Involvement and similarly assist TAB with administrative and budgetary obligations and responsibilities.
* Coordinate the Campus Involvement Fairs in August and January, including event logistics, publicity, and organization participation.
* Advise the new club application and review process and support the Student Senate in vetting new and returning clubs.
* Assist with programming logistics for new student orientation, including communication processes, providing subject matter presentations, and general support.
* Coordinate and work with others to implement a series of education and access programs that reflect a broad range of categories around diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Assist with the planning of the College’s annual MLK Day Celebration.
* Coordinate the planning and execution of annual traditions such as Welcome Week, Homecoming, Welcome Back Week, and Springfest.
* Coordinate the student organization leader training process, specifically assistant with tracking completion of required trainings for Greek letter organizations, club officers, club advisors, etc… and communicating training requirements in a timely manner.
* Other duties as assigned.
