POSITION DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Human Resources Representative
Category: Salaried Exempt
Position Summary: This role will act as an influential business partner in helping managers with talent management processes, people development, performance management, employee relations, safety and administration.
Talent Management
Source, screen, and orient new team members to support business needs by engaging in the following activities:
o Advertise team member openings using various platforms to ensure a suitable pool of applicants.
o Present management team with a pool of suitable candidates after conducting initial screening and interviews.
o Work with various agencies to staff the organization including managing our H2B and J1 Visa processes.
o Ensure accurate job descriptions are available for all openings.
o Develop and conduct new employee orientations to ensure team members understand the company history, culture, safety and service expectations. Train new team members on company policies and procedures.
o Maintain employee handbook
o Complete new hire paperwork for team members and deliver a complete package to the payroll department.
Employee Relations
Serve as the front line support for all employee relations issues including:
o Team member suggestions, concerns and inquiries
o Team members housing issues
o Package deliveries for international team members
o Transportation services for arriving and departing international team members
o Team member cultural events
o Team member recognition programs
o Manage employee uniform process
Safety
Enhance team member and guest safety by performing the following duties:
o Complete and file first report of any work related accidents or illnesses for team members including near misses.
o Audit work areas to established safety standards. Assist the organization in establishing and improving upon safety standards.
o Ensure compliance with applicable local, federal and state employee and guest safety regulations.
o Review all safety incidents with the management team on a monthly basis.
Performance Management
Assist the organization in establishing, training and monitoring performance expectations for team members.
o Implement training, postings, and other communication methods to ensure all team members are aware of guest service expectations.
o Assist the management team in monitoring team member adherence to guest service expectations and develop recognition programs to ensure success.
o Develop, implement and monitor corrective action procedures when team member performance does not meet expectations. Ensure consistency in application of procedures.
o Assist the management team with recognition and/or corrective action needed.
o Document corrective action as needed.
Administration
Assist the organization with various administrative activities by performing the following duties:
o Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
o Manage new employee setup process including new hire paperwork, payroll information, scheduling system entry, timeclock entry, etc.
o Assist international team members with Social Security setup
o Maintain accurate records and HR files for team members
o Conduct exit interviews with departing employees and report to management findings
o Assist with benefits enrollment paperwork and team member benefit questions
o Complete local wage and salary surveys as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

· Independent self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced environment
· Must possess a high level of honesty, integrity, and ethics
· Regular, predictable, full attendance is required for this position. A flexible schedule including weekend and non-traditional hours will be required as needed.

Pay: $28,304.00 – $67,415.00 per year
