Serve as Benefits Specialist to the organization.
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding
- New Hire Orientation
- Employee Recognition Program
- Coaching Program
- Employee Engagement
- Benefits and 401k administration.
- Serve as primary contact for benefits plan vendors and benefits broker.
- Analyze current benefits, evaluate the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefits programs, and identify the company’s stance.
- Analyze monthly claims for our medical self-funded plan.
- Manage and administer and oversee HNI’s internal Wellness program
- Oversee HR/Payroll Information Systems (ADP WFN)
- Administer Workers Comp Program
- Oversee regulatory compliance for all employment federal, state, local laws, and regulations
- Participates in staff meetings and continuing education, and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvement in the efficiency of the department and services performed.
To be considered and thus successful in this role you must have the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Bachelors Degree
- 6-8 years experience in Human Resources
- At least 3 years managing employee benefits and 401k
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Self-motivated individual with grit and passion
