HBI, a family-owned and operated telecommunications utility contractor, is seeking a self-motivated individual to fulfill the role of Safety Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring employee adherence to safety policies & procedures on construction job sites, conducting safety training, and providing project and administrative support to the Safety Manager.
Some responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, training staff on various job tasks, and assistance in the investigation of damage claims made by customers.
