At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for the Human Resources Business Partner will include:
– Acts as subject matter expert in Human Resource initiatives, including performance management, organizational structure, and succession planning
– Supports associates with overall policy management, including revisions, communication, and interpretation
– Partners with production and support departments regarding implementation and reporting of business plan themes or initiatives that create associate impacts
– Collects and analyzes human resource data to identify trends and establish action plans to execute the company vision
– Communicates company initiatives and projects to associates and management at every level
– Provides support and resources to drive the development of current and future members of the Honda leadership team
– – Coordinates with Leave Administrator regarding policy adherence of associates’ FMLA, Worker’s Comp, and other leaves of absence
Conducts exit interviews for exempt and non-exempt associates and utilizes feedback to understand trends to drive improvements across the organization
– Act as Project Lead and Project Support for plant level initiatives
– Manages and supports associate internal movement process, including evaluation of documentation and ensuring alignment with company policies, budgets, etc.
– Supports Honda of America Manufacturing legal team with court hearings and depositions

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, management, psychology, or other related field or 10 years of related job experience
– Six (6) years of equivalent, related job experience
– Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft.
– Good analytical and presentation skills
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
– Strong project management skills
– Excellent customer service
