YOUR LIFE AS A BOOKKEEPER / STAFF ACCOUNTANT

As a Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant, you excel at collecting information and analyzing financial processes. Your advanced knowledge of financial reporting and bookkeeping enables you to manage our accounts receivable and accounts payable with thorough precision. You verify accounts receivable aging reports, generating monthly statements for customers. Methodically analyzing vendor invoices, you use a logical approach to investigate and resolve discrepancies. You then assign general ledger account numbers to accounts payable vouchers, determine the payment schedule, and enter the data into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Your integrity and confidentiality are greatly appreciated as you receive checks, manage deposits, handle transfers, and facilitate payments.

Organized and efficient, you receive finished goods, verify the documentation, and input the data into the ERP system. You competently manage open purchase order files, matching receiving slips to purchase orders and vendor invoices. Skilled at planning and prioritizing multiple tasks, you compile reports, create spreadsheets, update databases, and prepare timesheets for payroll.

With a team player mindset, you perform receptionist and administrative duties as needed. Committed to providing superior customer service, you warmly greet visitors and aid customers over the phone, responding to inquiries and assisting with billing matters. You help management by sorting mail, preparing correspondence, and taking minutes during meetings. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 2+ years of previous bookkeeping experience
• Good knowledge of modern accounting theory, principles and practices, accounting terminology, and financial recordkeeping and reporting
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High school diploma or equivalent

An Associate of Arts degree in business administration or an accounting degree would be preferable. Experience with ERP software is preferred but is not essential. Knowledge of manufacturing or the aerospace industry would also be a plus but is not required.
