Want to join our Team? We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate with hiring managers and source candidates through various means to fill open positions for Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Practitioners as well as administrative positions to work within our disciplinary teams.
Office Location: Pasadena, MD
Coverage Area: Anne Arundel, Prince George’s Charles and Calvert Counties.
Status: Full-time – 40 hours/week

Main Responsibilities:
Collaboratively consult with hiring managers to recommend recruitment strategies and hiring criteria for open positions at all levels of the organization.
Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads on job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations and employee referral programs.
In coordination with both internal Communications Dept personnel and external advertising account executives (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, print media, etc), develop external advertising strategy and place targeted and general recruitment advertisements to fulfill this strategy.
In collaboration with Director of HR and other internal partners, develop and support a strong employer brand through deep understanding of HOC culture and values, knowing how HOC can differentiate from competition, using visual storytelling in advertisements, and creating comprehensive employee value propositions.
Receive and review applications and resumes and conduct preliminary interviews and phone screens, accurately recording notes and feedback for the hiring manager in TA software.
Create, implement, and frequently evaluate a strategy for identifying and contacting passive candidates. This may include direct mail, Linked InMail, cold calling, candidate referrals, and other techniques.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or job-related field, or equivalent combination of education and human resources job experience. PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification strongly desired.
3-5 years of successful talent acquisition experience in a high-volume sourcing and recruitment environment. Healthcare talent acquisition experience strongly preferred.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated expertise in using web-based talent acquisition and integrated HRIS software systems (Paycom preferred), plus proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task with attention to details and deadlines, and the ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks appropriately.
Demonstrated current knowledge of state and federal laws governing human resources and employment issues and a commitment to staying current with changes in the field and the associated laws.
