Hudson MD Group, LLC (“Hudson”) is a New Jersey limited liability company headquartered in West Orange, New Jersey operating as a large multi-specialty medical group practice comprised of primary care and specialist physicians practicing in New Jersey. Hudson was formed in 2019 in collaboration with Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health (“RWJBH”), the largest health care system in New Jersey. Hudson is managed by CityHealth Partners, a management service organization.
The Opportunity
Hudson is seeking a Medical Scribe for one of its medical offices located in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey location to perform the following job functions:
- Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physician(s).
- Enter the patient room with physician during patient visit to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications
- Update patient history, physician exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient
- Prepare and send all documentation to physician review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
- Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures
- Comply with medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPPA
- Perform other clerical duties and tasks to improve provided productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Medical Scribe.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Minimum of 60 WPM preferred
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
- Requires adherence to all of Clinic’s policies and procedures, including but not limited to HIPPA
Salary and benefits:
- $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
