About the Role
Huemen is looking for a Senior UI/UX designer to join a team focused on all creative efforts for the Harman portfolio of global audio brand which includes JBL, Harman/Kardon, as well as other brands within Huemen’s client roster. In this role you will work with the Design Director and other team leads to develop compelling and culturally relevant creative for multiple cross platform campaigns across, web, mobile, and social. You will be a key component in the evolution of the agency, and the elevation of our clients’ brand experiences.
What You Will Do
Successfully translate concepts and ideas into visuals for web, social, video, and promotions; able to demonstrate effective work in multiple formats including but not limited to web, mobile applications, social media applications, rich format advertising, email, and retail applications.
Develop breakthrough, culturally relevant visuals for creative campaigns and branding in web, mobile, social, and internal presentations. Thinking through complete digital experiences from user journeys and information architecture to Prototyping and developer handoff
Extend and maintain our client brands through a variety of digital mediums ensuring consistency and quality control.
Develop and maintain digital guidelines for a variety of client brands and initiatives.
Help lead and manage client projects and agency-wide initiatives.
Design, propose and deliver web site structure, wireframes, mockups, creative concepts, images, graphics and other visual displays.
Provide coaching, guidance and oversight to ensure our client’s graphic guidelines and visual identity is implemented correctly and effectively online.
Develop and maintain web design standards, style guides and user manuals for web development and interface design.
Analyze customer needs in order to design and implement technical solutions in line with department and client goals.
Evaluate and demonstrate new web technology as it becomes available for the purpose of determining how these can benefit our client and department.
What You Need
5-7+ years of experience designing complex digital experiences in web, mobile, or automotive
Compelling design portfolio showcasing creativity, aesthetics, breadth of projects and approach to solving complex design problems
Demonstrated mastery of collaborative UI/UX design (i.e. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
Ability to work in a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels
Strong attention to detail with a relentless attitude towards quality and the ability to collaborate across our multidisciplinary team to bring projects to life
Self-motivated, well organized, and up to challenges of ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
A solid grasp of industry trends and best practices
What is Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Media/Digital Arts, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or equivalent training
Demonstrated customer/client relationship management in a creative agency
Prior experience with E-commerce and digital campaigns
Working knowledge of motion design and animation
Some capabilities in front-end web programming (HTML/CSS/JS)
An understanding of photo and video editing
What Makes You Eligible
