About Our Job
As the first point of contact for Human Resources (HR), you have the opportunity to expertly serve our 2,200 internal and various external customers via phone, email and walk-in traffic. Answer questions and elevate the employee experience utilizing the HR Procedures and Guidelines, policies, and collective bargaining contracts in addition to other resources. In this role, you will be part of the Workforce Planning team to support our recruitment and retention efforts.
Job Description:
HR Functional Duties:
Using your expertise, source candidates from various databases and support the recruitment team in building eye-catching job postings.
Curate County accolades, current projects and future impact to include in recruitment efforts.
Represent Sarasota County at various job fairs and community events.
Complete verbal employment verifications for loans, housing, etc. and serve as backup for written verifications.
Analyze exit survey data and distribute on a weekly basis.
Process tuition reimbursements and Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree
4+ years of HR administrative experience
Related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the college degree
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM-CP/SCP and/or PHR/SPHR
About Everything Else
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on your experience
