Liberty Hill is a Type A General Law City operating with a council-manager form of government. The Director of Human Resources plans and conducts the work and services of the department, providing guidance and assistance to supervisors and employees on all areas of personnel management regulations, policies, and laws.

Liberty Hill is searching for a skilled and knowledgeable public servant excited to lead Human Resources for a passionate organization. City department directors are hands-on leaders who take ownership of their areas of responsibility, and this position is no exception; the selected candidate will be a motivated and goal-oriented self-starter.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, public administration, or a closely related field and eight years of related experience, preferably in public sector human resources. Completion of the IMPA Certified Professional and/or SHRM Certified Professional program is preferred. The selected candidate must also maintain a valid Texas driver’s license.
Liberty Hill is offering a salary range of $85,000 to $116,584 for this position, depending on experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
