Hiring entry level staff accountant to join our team and grow with the firm.

MUST HOLD 4 YEAR ACCOUNTING BACHELORS DEGREE AND BE WORKING TOWARDS CPA LICENSE, OR WANTING TO WORK TOWARDS THIS.

We are a growing firm, and with that, we want our employees to take part in the direction that we grow. Work from home is available, but not full time. You will be in the office at a minimum of a few days per week. This is in part because we want your input on how we implement policies and so we can help train you.

JOB TASKS

Tax Return Preparation – 1040, 1120S, 1120C, 1065, 990 returns will all be prepared in our system. This will be your main focus and area we will concentrate on. The opportunity is here to grow and advance through the firm long term.

Bookkeeping for clients – you will help clients understand their business and keep their financials, while also learning QuickBooks.

Payroll – Basic understanding of payroll taxes and preparation for small payroll clients.

HOURS/SCHEDULE

You will have a flexible schedule. No required 9-5, as long as you are getting your work done. This position is for entry level, so there will be some requirement to be in the office with the staff who will train you, but once you are up and running we do not have set office hours.

Tax season typically requires 60 hours per week, including work on Saturdays. Off season is usually 4 days per week.

We understand many employees have family that have things come up, we put family first and have no problems working with you and allowing you to make sure they are taken care of.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
