HII Mission Technologies is seeking Test Operation Engineers experienced with Naval (or other commercial ship) Propulsion and Auxiliary systems operation and/or test and troubleshooting for our HII Nuclear, Maritime Operations Team in Newport News, VA, supporting Newport News Shipbuilding.
Test Engineers in the Maritime Operations group support a wide variety of different functional areas at Newport News Shipyard (NNS). At NNS, HII builds the most advanced ships in the world, nuclear powered Aircraft Carriers and Submarines, and our engineers are integral in that effort. Test Engineers support the development of new technologies, the proper implementation of systems and components, and the help ensure safe operation of those systems and components throughout the intended lifespan.
