Ibotta is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
In this role, you will be executing a go-to-market strategy for Ibotta’s manufacturer partnerships in support of the overall General Merchandise Rewards platform. The focus will be on partnering with general merchandise brands in categories such as electronics, household, kids/baby, and beauty. You will manage the sales process from outreach to ongoing growth within this new line of business.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:

• Drive general merchandise rewards growth for our key client accounts, either directly or through agencies, through upselling and education around new product enhancements
• Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation across all product lines by working with clients, prospects, and internal teams
• Use data to identify trends, analyze campaigns, and provide client insights and recommendations to reach or exceed goals
• Meet/exceed annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships and expansion of existing business
• Creating and delivering sales presentations that educate your clients on Ibotta’s value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities, considering which products would best suit the client’s needs
• Attend conferences and actively represent the company within trade associations to deepen relationships with prospective clients
• Partner with Product Marketing to build and maintain outbound drip campaigns that attract new business with the goal of building a strong pipeline of interest from relevant clients

What we are looking for:

• 4-6 years of experience in sales, merchandising, buying, digital advertising or affiliate marketing
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
• Proven ability to sell and and pitch programs through navigating potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
• Experience with, or understanding of manufacturer marketing solutions and e-commerce a plus
• Effective communicator with the ability to lead client meetings and presentations (Candidates will do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
• Ability to ask insightful questions, clearly articulate business value, manage expectations, and quickly gain agreement

Additional Details:

• This position is located in Denver, CO, or with the option of full time remote and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, profit sharing and equity.
• Base compensation range: $53,000-$75,000. This range is not all inclusive as total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to the base salary that will increase total earnings. Talk to your recruiter to learn more. This compensation range is specific to the state of Colorado’s local labor market and may vary for employees living in other areas.
