iCAMP Hiring for Preschool Teacher for Mommy and Me Summer Classes Job at Hampton Bays, NY Full Time

**Hiring for summer camp 2022!**

iCAMP in the Hamptons is looking for passionate teachers who have experience with children between the ages of 1 and 3 years old to run “Mommy and Me” classes this summer.

These teachers will be responsible for creating and/or delivering engaging and exciting art and science lessons that are age appropriate. Lessons should get parents involved and make it a fun experience for all participants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

General:

• Hours are roughly 9:00am – 11:30am (extended hours available for those who want more work)
• Mommy and me classes start during the week of June 20th
• Some of these classes may take place at private residences

Instructional:

• Create or be trained on lessons plans
• Submit material requests
• Lead workshops that are exciting for children and parents
• Keep stations and supplies neat and organized

Perks:

• Travel stipend if commuting over a certain distance

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will be an 3+ years of experience working in early childhood. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate flexibility, energy, positivity, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills.

iCAMP practices all of the relevant NY State required safety protocol. This includes health screenings, temperature checks, sanitization, masks, only necessary people enter the space (e.g. parents stay in their cars), and more.
