Responsibilities:
Supervises Infrastructure team members.
Oversees and controls the network hardware, related software and communication systems.
Ensure and perform proper backup and security procedures.
Create and sustain a quality PC support environment, wherein the IT department works to support the branches with ordinary and extraordinary day to day tasks.
Assists in the development of new systems to accommodate the expanding operations of the Credit Union.
Provide procedures, policies, and technical training to support the Credit Union.
Manage the information flow to members, Administration, branch levels, and external interested parties.
Review and monitor system log files to help maintain the health of all assigned systems and report to the Vice President of Information Systems any unauthorized and/or inappropriate accesses.
Maintain data integrity through weekly data checks and regular special purpose reports.
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelor Degree in computer science or computer information systems. Preferred experience with Microsoft Network, W2K Servers, CISCO Routers, 2K and XP operating systems, and Telco technology. Ability to work with other department supervisors. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times.
Performance Standard:
Understand and direct network system and implement resolution to system problems. Make recommendations to meet the goals and objectives of the Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.
Physical Requirements:
Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
Sit for extended periods of time.
Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
Reach keyboards.
Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
