Large, independent gastroenterology practice with multiple clinic and ASC locations in the Treasure Valley of Idaho is seeking a Practice Administrator. Boise, and the surrounding area, is truly a gem! The area is ranked nationally as one of the best places to live, raise a family, and retire. The Practice Administrator is primarily responsible for overseeing the operations of the organization, assisting with business improvement plans, managing organizational finances, and developing, planning, and directing all administrative activities of the organization in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Directing financial operations to allow for superior healthcare outcomes for patients while optimizing annual earnings of the practice
· Oversee the financial operations of all facilities and equipment for the organization
· Serve as principal point of contact to the Executive Committee, and its subcommittees, and advise on administrative and operational issues of the organization.
Candidate must have expertise in strategic planning, a strong finance background, thorough understanding of all areas of the healthcare organization, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Master’s degree from an accredited university in Business and/or Healthcare Administration/Finance required
· 5+ years in healthcare experience preferred
· Extensive knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and value-based contracting
· Large Group practice experience preferred
· Strong financial and accounting acumen
· Past Practice Administration experience
· Proficiency utilizing electronic practice and health record management systems
· Excellent professional references required
