IES Commercial, Inc. – Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Industrial Safety Coordinator in Greenville, SC.
Job Summary
- Ensure implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
- Conduct frequent jobsite inspections, ensure that corrective action is taken to correct deficiencies
- Work with foremen in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
- Participate in jobsite safety meetings, including periodic attendance of foreman toolbox safety meetings
- Conduct jobsite safety orientations
- Assist in safety training as necessary
- Conduct field training on all equipment for all employees
- Hazard recognition and correction
- Provide on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
- Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Assists in other duties as directed by Site Senior Safety Coordinator
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year industrial electrical experience in a related position
- High School Diploma/GED
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED/Blood Bourne Pathogens Certification
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
