Pacific West Builders is a general contracting firm, primarily engaged in performance of construction projects on government facilities. We are seeking an accounts receivable and payable clerk to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Timely collection of all materials for preparation of the monthly billing package to the customer
- Submission of monthly billing to customer
- Tracking and reporting on progress of receivables
- Receive all subcontractor billings and disseminate to appropriate parties for approval
- Ensure all appropriate lien releases are obtained
- Prepare checks for all approved payments
- Maintain financial records for project receivables and payables
- Prepare reports for management
- Other duties as required by management
Experience/Education Required
- Accounting Course/training
- 2 years experience processing Construction Accounts receivable and payable, government project experience preferred
- Accounting software experience preferred, SAGE 100 Software experience preferred
