The Human Resources function is comprised of a best in class team of HR professionals including Generalists, Recruiters and Compensation, Benefits and Payroll specialists. The team is committed to the importance of the employee experience shown by our continued investment and focus on development of initiatives for our people, driving the company forward during these challenging markets.The Technical Recruiter will have responsibility for working with hiring managers in developing the most appropriate strategy to recruit technical talent across the Americas region. This team member will work closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to manage day-to-day recruiting activity across our technical recruitment portfolio.Duties & Accountabilities* Manage a mixed portfolio of requisitions for roles in different business lines, at varying levels of seniority (from entry level to Senior Director) and across multiple locations within the Americas* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders* Review and interview candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements* Manage the presentation, selection, offer negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting* Execute sourcing via existing and emerging channels including pro-actively developing leads* Manage administrative requirements to fill positions, to include updating applicant tracking system, spreadsheets and completing paperwork as needed* Ensure compliance with IHS Markit policies, local employment legislation as well as relevant governmental regulations (where appropriate)Education & Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred* 3+ years of experience in corporate or agency recruitment with a focus on full time permanent recruiting* Experience working with Workday preferred* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include MS Office Suite (Outlook / Word / Excel / PowerPoint)* Strong understanding of the end to end recruitment cycle across different geographiesPersonal Competencies* Proven experience of knowing what it takes to provide a consistently first class customer service internally and externally* Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data* Comfortable taking ownership for work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team* Able to organize self, including effective scheduling, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel, completing tasks to tight deadlines* Displays a resilient and adaptable style, adjusting comfortably to changing conditions* The role would suit highly driven self-starters with a strong desire to challenge and deliver and a can-do attitude#remote* ———————————————-Inclusion and diversity are critical to the success of IHS Markit, and we actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
