The Staffing Manager will oversee the overall operation of a designated line of business or set of client(s) within a geographical area. The Staffing Manager is responsible for revenue goals that are in line with Company budgets and targets. By managing the administrative, marketing, and sales functions, and by keeping track of metrics and standards, the Operations Manager will ensure all operational goals are met. He/She will oversee, supervise, motivate, and provide directions to reporting internal employees, so that high quality associates are identified, onboarded and placed with designated client(s).
Must have previous Staffing experience to be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation Management
· Responsible for overall operation growth through revenue generating activities.
· Executes operational focus areas and meets productivity standards.
· Ensures consistent execution of operational best practices, guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.
· Collaborates with team members and different departments within the organization to effectively execute policies and processes including, but not limited to, onboarding, compliance, payroll, systems management, benefits, workers’ compensation, and performance management.
Marketing and Resource Management
· Attracts and maintains a robust pipeline of viable candidates for positions.
· Effectively sources and hires quality associates within acceptable time to fill.
· Develops, leads, supports and assists in marketing strategies and initiatives.
· Ensures internal team members effectively market positions through different channels.
Account Management
· Builds loyalty by ensuring client orders are filled with qualified associates promptly and according to commitments.
· Creates, develops and executes on customer retention and expansion strategy for the line of business.
· Collaborate with client’s management team to ensure client’s policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented.
· Manages customer follow up activities to ensure satisfaction and create repeat business opportunities.
· Proactively works with client(s) to understand what customized staffing solutions will work for their company/organization.
· Reviews client contracts and works on necessary adjustments and/or changes.
· Negotiates or approves bill rates and conversion fees.
Business and Financial Management
· Manages revenue, margins, and operating income goals to ensure that metrics are met; prepares forecasts and prepares/executes business development plans to reach desired results.
· Works to improve efficiency and maximize revenue.
· Establishes weekly, monthly and annual goals and develops strategies to achieve those goals.
· Ensures that operations of the line of business or designated client(s) account(s) are sound by conducting weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis.
Leadership
· Creates a positive, collaborative and balanced culture that fosters a team environment.
· Leads with character, builds trust, respect and credibility through exemplary actions and behaviors.
· Effectively delegates responsibilities and provides mentoring, coaching and development of all staff.
· Facilitates staff meetings to review the status of orders, progress toward filling orders, and communicates any ongoing issues with clients and associates.
· Identifies and develops high-potential performers.
· Provides consistent recognition amongst staff.
· Effectively and timely communicates difficult messages, expectations, goals, performance feedback, and accountability of responsibilities.
· Facilitates resolution with internal staff, clients and candidates.
Sales Management
· Assists in growth and development by cross selling/leveraging all LOB’s with existing client(s) portfolio through quality staffing and outstanding customer service.
· Creates a high-performing team dynamic and positive business development culture.
Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
