The Department of Business at Illinois College invites applications for a full-time position in Agribusiness to begin Spring (preferred)
or Fall 2023. Candidates should have the ability to teach a variety of courses within Agribusiness in face-to-face and online formats while
providing support for other majors in the Business department. Teaching load will include introductory courses, Agricultural Marketing, Farm
Management, and capstone/senior seminar. Additional duties will include student recruitment and contribution to the ongoing development of
the Agribusiness program and to the ongoing development of the business programs at the College, including online teaching; student advising
and mentoring; scholarly engagement; and community involvement.
An understanding of, and appreciation for, the environment of a
liberal arts college is essential, as is a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
required; professional agribusiness experience preferred. A terminal degree is preferred, but highly qualified master’s-prepared
candidates with professional experience will be considered for a continuing appointment (tenure-track appointment requires doctorate or ABD
status).
