This individual will have leadership responsibility for designing and fostering a comprehensive and dynamic development program that results in significant supplemental resources (money and volunteers) to support IMSA’s legislative charges and mission. In addition, the Director leads a team of development professionals responsible for donor and alumni relationship engagement and stewardship on behalf of the Academy. This position reports to Chief Public Affairs & Development Officer and has extensive interaction with Academy leadership and with the Board of Directors of the IMSA Fund for Advancement of Education, a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation that raises, invests and distributes gifts and grants from the private sector to support the Academy’s work.
The internationally recognized Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) develops creative, ethical leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is committed to an equitable, diverse and inclusive teaching and learning environment. IMSA has committed to advancing equity in STEM education and representation and creating a diverse, inclusive community of global citizens who can realize their full potential, and execute our mission to advance the human condition.
