The Role
You will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. We are looking for someone with significant accounting expertise, excellent attention to detail, skill at building processes, comfort in a fast-moving startup environment, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves. You will report to the Director of Finance and work closely with the executive team to build world-class financial operations that ensure we are able to scale quickly.
- Responsible for day-to-day finance operations, including payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting processes
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize finance operations and support business growth
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate records of financial transactions

Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or related field; experience in a startup or other fast-paced environment preferred
- Substantial experience with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and other financial systems
- Demonstrated success at building and optimizing efficient financial processes

About IMPaCT Care
We have built the leading evidence-based intervention in the U.S. for addressing health inequity and the social determinants of health. IMPaCT’s program selects altruistic people from local communities, trains them as community health workers (CHWs) and connects them with people who are facing health inequity. We have transformed the effectiveness of the CHW workforce by reimagining each step, from how to identify the right CHWs, to how to train, develop, manage, and empower them with technology and evidence-based best practices.
