ImpactLife is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to our partner hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The blood center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where ImpactLife’s testing, processing, and primary distribution center of blood components is located. ImpactLife is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

The ImpactLife Patient Services team performs life- saving therapeutic apheresis procedures for patients with diagnoses that include, but are not limited to, hematologic, neurologic, and renal conditions at area hospitals in a variety of settings from critical care to outpatient infusion centers.
As a Patient Services, RN, you will use your nursing experience to perform patient assessments and evaluations, maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, perform venipuncture and maintain peripheral access or access central lines, AV
fistulas, or AV grafts; recognize patient conditions requiring immediate actions; communicate appropriately with physicians; collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to facilitate a smooth patient experience; and educate the patient, family, and hospital staff as needed. A
Additionally, the Patient Services, RN or LPN will have office duties when not assigned for patient procedures that support ImpactLife donor center operations.
This is a full time position working 35-39 hours a week with Full Time Benefits and the primary schedule is Monday – Friday 1st shift. The Patient Services team is responsible for an on-call rotation and actual schedule may vary based on patient need. Qualified candidates must be RN board certified and licensed to practice in Iowa and Illinois or have the ability to obtain licensure and be able to obtain and hold privileges at ImpactLife service hospitals. License must be valid and in good standing.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience in acute care, critical care, or dialysis settings, is BCLS certified, has basic computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and be self-motivated.
