Impulse Creative Hiring for Back-End Developer at Punta Gorda, FL Full Time

We are looking for a talented Back End Developer to join our team and help us continue to set the precedence of what a RevOps Growth Agency can accomplish in our space. Our agency currently builds several products, custom websites, API integrations with HubSpot, and so much more.

This position will head all back-end development at our growing marketing agency. You will work directly with both retainer and project based clients. You will be working with an internal team made up of front end developers, designers, UX strategists, and project managers to help our clients #growsmarter. Our agency is fast paced and you will work side by side with Front End developers by integrating the user experience of applications with the logic required via API’s. We also expect you to help with API and technical issues during the QA process during a number of projects.

A day in the life

• You will aid in scoping of technical tasks and providing time estimates for the scopes you will help create.
• You will be asked to strategically problem solve and creatively help our clients with technical issues.
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with the front end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.
• Developing ideas for new integrations, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
• Taking lead on technical projects, as needed.

Expectations

• Candidate based in, and eligible to work in the United States
• 2-3 years in back end development experience
• Experience with REST API’s (HubSpot API’s familiarity a plus)
• Fluency or understanding Ruby, Python, Node.js, and PHP are required
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Focus of efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently or with a group
