Your Job
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of the Global Order to Cash Accounting team and will report to the Global Order to Cash Manager. They must be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Revenue Systems engineering team to implement system process improvements and automate E2E order to cash processes. This includes the automation of reconciliations, a continuous reduction in the number of manual journal entries required, and other areas.
- Troubleshooting & resolutioning for revenue systems issues – this includes providing guidance to the engineering team & identifying any required accounting fixes to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting.
- Main accounting point of contact for product monetization & reseller entity launches.
- Provide accounting guidance for all areas of the order to cash process. This includes revenue recognition, credit memos, refunds, write-offs, foreign currency, tax and other areas.
- Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Suggest, design and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency
- Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Adhoc projects/tasks as requested by management
Who You Are
Requirements:
- 5+ years post qualified experience ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- 3+ years multinational experience
- Experience of working with revenue systems/platforms/architecture.
- Excellent technical accounting skills, with a particular focus on revenue recognition and all areas of the order to cash process.
- Track record of working independently with limited required direction and guidance on simultaneous projects and teams
- Ability to respond to internal requests for support and assistance in a prompt and professional manner
- Ability to work in a confidential manner due to access to information of a sensitive nature
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, long term incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

NYC Metro Area 81,000 – 121,000 USD per year
