About the Indiana State Personnel Department (INSPD):
As an agency operating a shared services model, we provide the executive branch of state government with top-notch HR services. INSPD has a dedicated team of human resources professionals working in many capacities, including director-level, generalists, and specialists in each discipline of human resources. Joining our team will open the door to many opportunities for lateral and upward mobility.

Salary:
The starting salary for this position traditionally ranges from $42,000-$52,000 annually.

Position-Specific Information:
As an HR Generalist with the State of Indiana, you will provide robust HR expertise to one of the many agencies supported by the Indiana State Personnel Department’s centralized Human Resources team. Assigned agencies could range from social services, infrastructure, public safety, protective services, natural resources, and more.

About the Job:
The HR Generalist manages HR functions in a highly responsible administrative/consultative position. The work consists of planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating human resources programs.
