This Client Analyst role will work to support a Minneapolis-based Mid-Market manufacturing client with a heavy focus on the frozen category. In this unique role you will support the client with both general insights tasks and database support. The ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance to the client’s site in the Minneapolis metro area, but remote candidates with strong backgrounds will also be considered.
What will I do as a Client Analyst?
As innovators in Big Data starting with POS, IRI is looking for:
– Key point of client contact for service-related requests or issues.

-Able to engage in a service-focused manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables.
-Strong project management and process skills.
-Able to effectively work with virtual and diverse teams ({(}>i.e. GOC).
-Use your energy and motivation to evaluate research data, find key points, and recommend action steps to directly impact the bottom line for our clients
-Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated ability to learn and utilize various computer software, including MS Excel.
-Ability to escalate issues to the right people appropriately.
-Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
What are the responsibilities of a Client Analyst?
To be successful as a Client Analyst you must possess and be able to:
– Manage content delivery for client; including Content Delivery Client Satisfaction
– Support exceeding revenue by high quality service delivery and data
– Coordinate and execute high quality on-going analytic and ad-hoc requests
– Work very closely with our clients to produce ad hoc reports and presentations across strategic and tactical top-line applications
– Use strong analytical skills to consult with our client’s sales, category management and brand and trade marketing groups
-Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.
– Approach client with coherent, actionable and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs
– Identify business issues and opportunities and suggests the appropriate level analytic solution/approach
– Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
– Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had
– Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship
– Looks for opportunities to increase client satisfaction with database reporting related to continuous updates within the databases including new item additions, executive level reporting analysis and provide greater efficiency.
– Lead effective problem solving with client and internal teams.
– Create presentations that deliver insightful, strategic, and actionable answers for clients.
– Create indispensable, long-term, solution-focused consultative partnerships; Establish trust based on demonstrated commitment to quality and service.
– Suggest creative techniques, tools, and processes to improve all aspects of client and team performance.
– On-going general database maintenance and support
– Assist in client trainings ({(}>1:1 and small groups as needed)
– Provide technical help and troubleshoot – work with IRI support to resolve any technical issues
– Generate & Quality Control monthly reports – must have an eye for detail
– Build ad-hoc reports/stories in Unify to address business issues
– Be able to conduct analysis to address business issues ({(}>from data pulling to presentation building)
What are the requirements of a Client Analyst?
– 3-5 years progressive years of experience
– Experience working with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods ({(}>CPG) company
– Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex client deliverables.
– Demonstrated experience within the CPG industry using syndicated POS/panel data.
– Strong analytic and quantitative abilities, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
– Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication skills.
– Ability to build and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks internally.
– Demonstrated resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges.
– Demonstrated planning, leadership, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills. – Demonstrated strong understanding of client issues.
– Ability and willingness to recognize and respond to client needs from a service perspective.
