Job Title: Material Logistics Professional – Transportation Mgmt.
Pay Rate: $40 to 45/Hr.
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Wichita, KS

This position is for the Power/Energy division.

This position requires Contingent Workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Description:

• Maintains, updates and communicates relevant information (regarding master data, delivery schedules, stock-and-order status, and contract information) from suppliers, procurement, and logistic service providers.
• Analyzes operational logistic status, informs involved stakeholders adequately – and derives and implements alternative measures to adapt to changing situations.
• Completes and communicates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability for Project Logistics Management (PLM).
• Documents and processes complaints or transport damages, in cooperation with other accountable stakeholders (PLM, Purchase, Insurance, Controlling, Quality, Engineering), – and proposes and implements remedial measures with transport service providers.
• Coordinates return of logistic infrastructure and on-site equipment used, in support of Project Logistics Management, and steers respective logistics operations with service providers.
• Supports PLM in the development, calculation, and implementation of logistic contingency measures.
• Supports PLM in concluding project evaluation and advancement of the project-specific process of customer supply.
• May support PLM in tender preparation as well as supplier evaluation.
• Strong skills in SAP MM and.
• Must have IATA and DOT current certifications.
• Experience with ECC and Customs Invoice Creation.
• Warehouse environment.
• Works closely with transportation brokers and carriers to book FTL, LTL, and custom critical deliveries.
• Must be able to manage the administrative activities of booking and scheduling as well as loading and offloading.
• Fork truck license and experience are a must.
• Crane operator experience preferred.

CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN THE WICHITA KS AREA.

Salary: Up to $45.00 per hour
