Infosys is seeking AWS Python Developer

Role Designation – Technology Analyst

In the role of Technology Analyst, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Candidate can be located within commuting distance of Irvine or Los Angeles, CA or work remotely from anywhere within the US initially 6 to 12 Months and be willing to relocate to the area within months.

This position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in software development using Python and AWS cloud application development

Preferred Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development using Python and cloud application development
• Experience in AWS Lambda function development
• A strong understanding & experience of Python programming and its associated libraries
• A strong understanding of relational databases and SQL queries
• A strong understanding and use of asynchronous Restful API patterns
• Experience implementing AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD structures
• Able to define, document and communicate, middleware and back-end architectures
• Clear communicator (written and verbal)
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Knowledge and understanding of Software development and Agile development and methodologies
• Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, Non-functional requirements (NFRs)
• Experience working in and have good understanding of Development process like Agile, waterfall
• Having good analytical ability
• Having good communication skills is must as the role requires to perform regular discussion with client and business teams for eliciting the requirements
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Cultivate and manage relationship with internal and external parties
• Quality and Timely deliverable to commitment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
