The Lead Recruiter manages the tasks and reporting requirements of a group of assigned recruiters. Additionally, the Lead Recruiter will function as a member of the recruiting team contacting, recruiting, submitting, placing, and maintaining healthcare professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates weekly meetings and daily/weekly/monthly reporting for his/her assigned recruiting team.
- Places outgoing calls to potential employees for recruiting purposes
- Accurately and thoroughly communicates all assignment and benefits details to travelers throughout the recruitment process to minimize traveler-initiated cancellations
- Acts as a consultant to nursing hiring managers providing guidance consistent with facility recruitment/HR policies and procedures, as well as, state and federal employment law
- Places qualified candidates with current and new clients nationally, by actively sourcing qualified candidates and maintaining current database
- Builds and fosters professional relationships with travelers while serving as a crucial career counselor and placement advisor throughout their employment with the company
- Negotiates contract terms with candidates including offers of employment
- Resolves travelers employment issues and escalate them as needed
- Exercises appropriate sales strategies based on travelers needs
- Helps mentor and develop other Recruiters and Front End Recruiters
- Conducts reference verifications
- Performs additional duties as requested by management
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum 18 (Eighteen)months in a recruiter role
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota expectations
- Consistent track record acting as a mentor to Recruiters and demonstrating leadership qualities
- Work experience in the healthcare, staffing, or human resources environment, preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong customer service, negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

Compensation Range
$45,800.00 – $56,200.00
Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life & disability insurance, 401K w/ employer match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
