Warehouse and Installation Associate
This position is for a warehouse professional at a retail flooring business known for its superior customer service and professional staff. If you’re a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results.
Duties
Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
- Warehouse management
- Inventory management
- Receiving; unloading delivery trucks of merchandise
- Keeping warehouse clean and organized
- Working alongside other showroom and construction site colleagues
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively
- Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc.
Requirements
Qualifications for this position:
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to take direction and willing to learn
- Able to operate a forklift
- Able to move boxes of tile, wood and run carpet cutting machine
- Good people skills
- Independent proactive thinker
- Flexible/Open work schedule
- Dependable & timely
- Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Experience with installing flooring
- And/or general construction experience
