The Talent Advisor is a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This position upholds IEHP’s Mission, Vision, and Values through the engagement, selection, and hiring of qualified candidates to open positions at IEHP, in order to build an effective and inspired workforce.
The Talent Advisor serves IEHP as a primary hiring agent, consultant/advisor, employer brand ambassador, and a project manager: Maintaining a number of open requisitions, the Talent Advisor partners with hiring leaders to screen, interview, select, and hire the most qualified candidates to open positions from a pool of job seekers who actively applied through IEHP’s career portal, in addition to passive candidate’s whom Sourcing Specialists funnel in. Talent Advisors work to form collaborative partnerships with hiring leaders and other internal/external stakeholders, meeting regularly to advise on TA issues and concerns, to understand the unique present and future staffing needs of departments and business units, as well as to address any immediate staffing pain points.
Providing a “White Glove”, concierge experience, the Talent Advisor employs modern, effective, and evidenced-based techniques to aggressively attract, influence and convert talent through the use of innovative sourcing and marketing/branding methods to proactively engage active candidates, and to ensure an unparalleled candidate experience for every candidate, every time. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
1. Facilitate and apply best-practice to recruitment process, including candidate screening, recruiting, and hiring of IEHP Team-Members
2. Responsible for opening new and approved requisitions and posting on IEHP career portal. Including responsibility for updating and refreshing all job posts
3. Establish and maintain strong, insightful, cross-functional relationships with hiring leaders, candidates, Compensation, and L&D, serving as consultative recruitment subject matter expert, advisor, contributor, and ambassador of IEHP’s employer brand
4. Professionally represent IEHP Talent Acquisition at public, private and/or IEHP sponsored networking and industry events, career fairs, classroom presentations, conferences, and related workshops, both on and offsite
5. Develop and maintain broad professional network of top talent
6. Collaborate and work in tandem with Sourcing Specialists on priority talent pipeline needs and staffing strategies
7. Provide hiring leaders with on-going education and guidance related to job creation process, interviewing best practices, and inform general hiring and selection processes
8. Drive equitable inclusion efforts to identify and hire qualified, diverse talent while maintaining exceptional candidate experience for every candidate, every time
9. Generate and implement of comprehensive recruitment plans, including clear objectives, timelines, and tracking methods to share with respective hiring leaders
10. Utilize recruitment tools such as the applicant tracking system and CRM to identify, and successfully acquire active talent from a strong and qualified talent pipeline
11. Use innovative communication, marketing, and employee value proposition to proactively engage candidates throughout the candidate life-cycle.
12. May provide career guidance to candidates and students and discusses appropriate job placement within IEHP
13. Extend clear, fair, consistent, and equitable employment offers, upholding all IEHP hiring and compensation guidelines and policies
14. Track workflow, communication, and management of candidates throughout the candidate life-cycle
15. Effectively engage stakeholders, articulating updates and information in a polished and professional manner
16. Regularly meet and collaborate with hiring leaders and other internal stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy, and talent profiles to inform, anticipate, and deliver on present and future hiring needs and objectives
17. Form strong collaborative partnerships with Sourcing Specialists to engage with and identify viable talent pipelines
18. Conduct in-depth candidate screens and assess candidates for their level of interest, specific motivators, qualifications, compensation needs, and their overall best fit within the organization (which may not necessarily be with the position they applied to)
19. Drive continuous improvement via measurement tools, scorecards, and recruitment analytics
20. Obtain and maintain approved Talent Acquisition certifications, training, and continuing education to stay informed on industry trends and best practices, and further skill development Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) Cont Supervisory Responsibilities Leading: Self Experience Qualifications
Three plus (3+) years of experience of recruiting/sourcing experience across a wide range of disciplines. Proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels. Experience with Talent Acquisition databases, e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), and Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs). Experience meeting time to fill, quantity, quality, and internal hiring. Experience contacting high-potential prospects through media/non-media platforms, including comfortability with phone, in-person, A.I., and email. Experience in building, cultivating, engaging with, and sustaining networks of qualified passive/active talent, as well as creating mechanisms to effectively manage a candidate pool. Experience in a role where multiple projects and competing demands are the norm. Preferred Experience
Agency recruitment experience in complex markets preferred. Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or related field from an accredited institution required. Preferred Education Professional Certification

Familiarity with enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition processes, and experience working in a results measured environment. A reasonable salary expectation is between $61,422.40 – $78,312.00 , based upon experience and internal equity.
